Overview
Coordinates and performs the diagnostic radiographic cases for all patients. Open, accurate and responsive communication, oral or written, on an individual basis or in groups. Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines. Demonstration of ethical and professional conduct. Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty and disaster work as required by workload and/or unforeseen circumstances. Must display a good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatrics through geriatrics.

- Understand age-related developmental issues from pediatrics through geriatrics.
- Education:
Must be enrolled in a recognized school of radiologic technology. Must maintain CPR while employed at Unity Health and maintain a temporary license upon completion of the program until Radiologic Technology registry or an equivalent modality is obtained. - Training and
Experience:
Prefer 1 year radiologic school experience. - Job Knowledge:
Knowledge of radiographic examinations and procedures that require contrast agents. Knowledge of radiographic equipment operations and radiation safety. Knowledge of patient transfers and positioning techniques. - Safety Sensitive: YES
- Physical Effort:
Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks; work in a radiation area; lift up to 50 lbs; wear lead aprons and gloves; move portable x-ray machines; travel as needed including overnight stays. - Mental Effort:
Ability to concentrate on fine detail with interruptions; communicate verbally with advanced vocabulary; interact with patients and staff; maintain confidentiality.
