Classroom Supervision

Supervise students in lessons during the absence of the regular teacher.

Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials provided by teaching staff.

Ensure students remain focused on completing assigned work.

Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful classroom environment.

Behaviour Management

Apply the school's behaviour management policies consistently.

Address minor behavioural issues and report more serious incidents to senior staff.

Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.

Student Support

Provide basic guidance to students regarding the tasks set by the teacher.

Encourage participation and support students to complete their work.

Monitor student progress during the lesson.

Person Specification

Essential

Experience working with children or young people.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Ability to maintain discipline and encourage positive behaviour.

Organised, reliable, and able to work independently.

Good literacy and numeracy skills
