Job Description:

Are you confident, adaptable, and passionate about supporting young people in education?

We re looking for Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Newport, providing vital classroom supervision in the absence of the regular teacher. Whether you're an experienced education professional, a recent graduate, or considering a future in teaching this could be your ideal next step.

What You ll Be Doing:

• Supervising lessons and keeping pupils on task using provided lesson plans
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe, productive environment
• Supporting the school day-to-day and helping maintain continuity of learning
• Acting as a positive role model and authority figure in the classroom

We d Love to Hear From You If You Are:

• Confident, organised, and able to think on your feet
• Comfortable managing a classroom and engaging with secondary-aged students
• Flexible and reliable, with a positive attitude
• Interested in education, teaching experience is not required
• Able to provide an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one)
