Cover Teachers – Newport

£170 per day

Completely care is looking for reliable, confident Cover Teachers to work across a variety of schools on a temporary, ongoing, or ad hoc basis. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or looking to gain more classroom experience, we offer flexible opportunities to suit your schedule.

As a Cover Teacher, you’ll step into classrooms to deliver lessons in the absence of the regular teacher. Your role will include maintaining a positive learning environment, managing student behaviour, and supporting pupils as they work through pre-prepared lesson plans.

• Deliver lessons in the absence of the regular teacher across a variety of schools.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and manage student behaviour.
• Support pupils as they work through pre-prepared lesson plans.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• At least 6 months’ UK-based classroom experience
• A confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills
• The ability to follow lesson plans and support pupils effectively
• A flexible, proactive attitude to working across different schools and age groups
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• The right to work in the UK
