We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our skilled team in Newport. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with an excellent track record to join our expanding business.

You’ll play a key role in the vehicle repair process — assessing damage, preparing precise repair estimates, liaising with insurers and customers, and ensuring every repair meets BP Rolls’ high standards of quality, service and timescale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out thorough vehicle damage assessments using Audatex and other estimating systems, maintaining systems throughout for complete traceability.
  • Prepare detailed and professional repair estimates in line with industry regulations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, insurers, and internal colleagues.
  • Oversee repairs from start to completion, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and to specification.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, repair methods, and procedures.
  • Support junior estimators and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and service delivery across the Depot.
About You
  • Demonstrable track record as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator
    , ideally within a high-quality, high-volume accident repair environment.
  • ATA VDA accreditation required.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a professional and methodical approach.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Confident with Audatex, estimating software, and modern Bodyshop systems.
  • High standards of work ethic with a commitment to upholding the BP Rolls reputation for excellence.
