Overview
Here at Middleton Pool and Fitness Centre we are looking for a recreation assistant for around 32-40 hours a week. This role will primarily involve lifeguarding our swimming pools, with reception cover and duty manager cover as part of the duties. You will need to hold an NPLQ qualification.

More About Your Role
As a Recreation Assistant it will be your responsibility to maintain the Health and Safety of the centre at all times, including carrying out cleaning duties and preparing activity areas for all planned sessions. You will ensure all of the centre7s equipment is stored in a safe and secure way when not in use. You will work alongside the Duty Manager and report any matters of concern and carry out patrols.

More About You
The successful applicant will have a friendly, approachable manner and deliver excellent customer service. You will assist with first aid when required, so ideally have some experience. You will ideally have worked within a similar role. Experience carrying out cleaning duties and maintaining equipment would set you apart from other candidates.
