Position: DRIVER & GENERAL LABOR
We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to deliver products promptly to our customers.
Work Schedule
7:00 am – 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with availability for overtime past 3:30 and some weekends.
Responsibilities
Drive automatic transmission box truck and/or pick-up truckDeliver to commercial customers within the state of VirginiaFollow routes and time schedulesLoad, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicleComplete logs and reportsFollow regulations and safety standardsObtain customer signatures on delivery paperworkCount and package sheet metal productsMove products by hand, cart, pallet jack, or forkliftPerform general labor duties when not making deliveriesSkills and Requirements
Proven experience as a Delivery DriverValid driver’s license (non-CDL)Ability to operate forklifts to load and unload tractor trailers and straight trucks (preferred)Experience with material handling or moving odd-sized or oversize products (helpful but not required)Ability to drive in various weather and traffic conditionsExcellent organizational and time management skillsGood driving record meeting insurance requirementsAbility to lift 50-75 lbs, stand, walk, sit, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, reach, and perform repetitive hand and finger movementsReliable transportation and punctualityGood attendance and flexibility for overtimeAdditional Information
Work is performed in a non-air-conditioned plant; smoking is allowed in some areas.
