Plumbing Mechanic – Special Projects

Colonial Webb is seeking experienced commercial plumber mechanics to join our special projects team in Hampton Roads. Typical projects include commercial construction projects, change‑outs, retrofits, installations, etc.

• Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of domestic water and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
• Assist with sheet metal products and ductwork for commercial projects as well as any other tasks needed to complete the project.

• Possession of an applicable Journeyman or Master’s license (preferred, but not required)
• Possession of a Backflow License (preferred, but not required)
• Possession of Med‑Gas Certification (preferred, but not required)
• Completion of applicable trade school (preferred, but not required)
• Experience with layouts
• Knowledge of basic construction/shop math
• Ability to communicate effectively and deal diplomatically with co‑workers and other tradesmen
• Knowledge of International Plumbing Code (IPC) and general safety regulations
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a drug screen and background check
