Join HII and Mission Technologies where our team works in the only shipyard to execute the Refueling and Complex Overhaul (RCOH) of a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier. The mid-life of RCOH includes refueling of nuclear reactors, overhauling most machinery, and modernizing warfare systems to ensure the Navy's aircraft carriers incorporate improved capabilities needed for success in the remaining 25 years of service.

We are seeking Electricians to join our growing team. The selected candidate will be supporting RCOH making an impact on the safety of our US Navy ships by working on electrical systems by installing, operating, maintaining maintenance repairs and technical support on shipboard equipment. Your accomplishments will make a positive impact supporting the U.S. Navy and America’s national defense!

Support trades team by working on active class surface ships to assist with alterations and installations for fleet modernization.

Perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on shipboard systems, integrated systems, and related equipment/software onboard Aircraft Carriers.

Assist and/or perform troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions to eliminate problems in minimum time.

Learn and apply production processes toward completion of assignments.

Perform duties outside of specialty to complete installation or work assignment.

• Must have High School education or Trade School or equivalent and 1-6 years of related experience. Must provide own hand tools as designated per trades specialty.
• Must be able to read and use precision tools.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD confidential security clearance and maintain clearance level throughout employment.
• Must be able to obtain base access credentials within 60 days of start date and maintain credentials throughout employment.
• Must be able to provide hand tools per trade designation.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
