Overview
Position: PBNA Sales Relief (Pepsi Co Beverages North America). Compensation: $23.85 / hour. Great benefits, winning culture, growth opportunities.
Responsibilities- Be the primary territory salesperson to all account types in the assigned geography for route and/or geography coverage, including small accounts (convenience stores, gas stations, small grocery, drug stores, dollar stores) and large accounts (supermarkets and mass merchants).
- Provide an elevated level of professional selling and drive revenue share and profit growth by communicating with Store Owners, Store Managers, and other buyers.
- Manage all aspects of sales in small format and low-volume accounts (upselling, writing new orders, inventory management as contracted) and provide needed support.
- In large format/high-volume accounts, drive incremental selling initiatives while collaborating with a Merchandiser team (pod) for in-store service execution.
- Develop and motivate Merchandisers on order submission, customer service excellence, display execution, and inventory management.
- Grow and develop customers in the assigned territory; monitor contract compliance (Pepsi's Customer Development Agreement) in small format accounts.
- Communicate incremental displays and product needs to Merchandisers to ensure installation, build, and management readiness.
- Provide superior customer service and cultivate strong relationships to inform sales strategy for each customer.
- Execute local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brands and maximize brand performance.
- Collaborate with Key Account Managers, Territory Sales Leads, and Merchandisers to target incremental selling opportunities and drive KPIs (Revenue, Share, Waste, Profit).
- Sell small format annual Customer Development Agreements, holiday promotions, and other initiatives with key customers.
- Ensure product is available, rotated, and priced appropriately; be flexible with scheduling that may include early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends.
- Periodically lift up to 40 lbs. as part of work activities.
- 18 years or older
- Must have a car to access multiple store locations within assigned shift
- Valid U.S. driver s license and proof of insurance
- Indefinite right to work in the United States
- Experience in sales/selling (new products, promotions, points of distribution, deals, pricing)
- Experience in account management (meeting targets, execution and service, growing accounts)
- Experience in B2B selling (sales calls, relationship building, handling complaints)
- Experience with incremental selling (upselling, suggesting additional products)
- Experience selling beverages or consumer products (order fulfillment, problem resolution)
- Experience with financial targets (volume/sales/revenue targets, product breakage)
- Experience with financials (profit margins, gross profit dollars)
- Experience with fact-based selling using data to support propositions
- Experience with solution selling (tailored client solutions)
- Experience mentoring or developing others
- Experience in customer service and merchandising
- Experience managing a route (prioritizing stops, scheduling, servicing accounts)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Pepsi Co sales applications such as SMARTr and Savvy or similar
- Proficiency with P.E.P.S.I and Premier
