Retail & Store Manager, Customer Service Rep
Retail Merchandiser – Exchange – Eustis/Langley – P/T – 20 hrs per week
Base pay range: $17.50/hr – $17.50/hr

ESCO is seeking a part‑time Base Manager at Langley AFB, Ft. Eustis, and Yorktown NWS, Virginia. This role is ideal for a spouse, student, or retiree looking to make an impact. If you are interested, we want to talk to you!
SCOPE: Exchange locations on a specific military base or bases in the United States as defined by the Area Manager.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain proper call frequency.
- Sell and ensure proper shelf placement for all authorized items using provided tools.
- Fill store shelves with back‑stock when opportunities exist.
- Secure display activity and build displays as needed.
- Scan store for missing items via hand‑held device and obtain missing distribution.
- Conduct inventory checks and write orders for all VON related items.
- Meet with each store manager as scheduled by the Area Manager.
- Responsible for shelf management.
- Facings – resets – communicate auto‑replenishment issues – pricing – coupons – POG compliance.
- Check code dates and proper rotation.
- Write up/return out‑of‑dates as outlined in specific manufacturer policies.
- Timely communication to the Area Manager using the best‑practice method outlined by the AM.
- Sell promotions as outlined in the Convenience Package and as directed by the AM, then report results.
- Build displays as required.
- Place points of sale as directed.
- Report low or out‑of‑stock issues to the Facility Manager.
- Complete call reporting procedures while in store.
- Other projects/requests as requested or assigned by management.
Explanation of Lifting and other Work
Conditions:
- Build, install, and move various racks (with assistance) weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Build displays with up to a 40‑lb case weight.
Pay rate is $17.50 per hour for 20 hours per week. Access to a computer, printer, and smartphone is required to download information from websites.
