Overview
Seeking Experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner for US Acute Care Solutions. You will practice compassionate, attentive, and quality care with a group that invests in your growth, while valuing and rewarding your expertise. Our Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners work side by side with Physicians as clinical colleagues, with support through local, regional, and national APP leadership. As the country’s leading physician-owned acute care group, we understand the importance of leadership support to focus on quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide Emergency Medicine care in a 20-bed ED with EPIC documentation
- Collaborate with Physicians and other clinicians to deliver high-quality patient care
- Engage in clinical governance and continuous improvement initiatives as part of USACS orientation and assemblies
- Emergency Medicine experience required
- Location:
Newport News, Coastal Virginia (affluent suburbs with access to Williamsburg and Virginia Beach) - Community hospital with 110 beds
- 24/7 In-house coverage for CT, Hospitalist, NICU, Anesthesia, OB-GYN
- Primary Stroke Center status; STEMI Center
- Two 64-slice CT machines with ED priority
- Ultrasound in the ED; EPIC documentation
