Part-Time Advanced Practice Provider - Behavioral Health

Sentara Medical Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Outpatient Behavioral Health Care Center located in Newport News, VA. Position Highlights:

• Part-Time, 0.7 FTE (28 hours)
• Collaborative team environment with 2 Advanced Practice Providers and 2 Therapists
• Standard work schedule of Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Diverse patient population, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, and substance use disorders
• Manage an average daily caseload of 13 14 patients
• Visit structure includes 60-minute initial evaluations and 30-minute follow-up appointments
• Responsibilities include care for new and established patients (primarily adults), medication management, and responding to MyChart messages
