Job Description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Registered Nurse.

Position type:
Full-time - Contract
Duration: 12+ Months
Location:
Newport News, VA 23607

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Provide nursing services and first aid to employees or persons who become ill or injured at work facilities and industrial plants.
• Administer health management programs such as workers compensation, long-term disability, and wellness programs.
• Maintain records of persons treated; prepare accident reports; provide health education information; dispense standard drugs and medicines such as aspirin and cough or cold tablets.
• Refer contagious diseases or serious injuries to company or employees' physician.
• Work with industrial toxicology and/or hygienists to recognize environmental factors and/or stresses in or from the workplace that may cause sickness, impaired health, or discomfort among the workers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree and 5 years of experience, Master of Science degree and 3 years of experience, PhD and 0 years of experience.
• Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field.
• General knowledge of other related disciplines.

Pay Range and Benefits:
Pay Range*: $44/hr.

- $49/hr.

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
