• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1740 - $1860

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – Virginia or compact state
• BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• Minimum of 2 years recent bedside clinical experience as a Med/Surg RN
• Experience in PCU, Critical Care, or Step-Down nursing settings strongly preferred
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to identify teaching needs and care goals
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning from day one
• Communicate changes in patient status to the healthcare team to ensure continuity and patient safety
• Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and/or orientees
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, following all hospital safety protocols
• Contribute to a positive team environment and participate in unit-based team building activities
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed following orientation
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education for nursing excellence
