HII's Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) division is the largest industrial employer in Virginia. • Supervises, assigns, coordinates and evaluates semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel.
• Provides training to improve quality and quantity of work performed.
• Recommends training and develops training procedures.
• Breaks broad strategies into actionable plans and ensures employee training.
• Ensures compliance with technical aspects, drawings, procedures, and quality standards.
• Manages manufacturing, installation, operation, testing and process operations with significant financial impact.
• Monitors job and budget performance for all shifts.

Sign‑on bonus: $5,000 to new foreman hires. Current employees who qualify for the requisition are also eligible.

• BS/Apprentice OR High School diploma with 6 years related trade experience.
