This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Director, located in Newport News, VA. The Executive Director will oversee the daily operations of the retirement community, ensuring the highest standards in resident care and services. Responsibilities include managing budgets, supervising staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive and compassionate community environment. The Executive Director will also collaborate with staff, residents, and families to maintain and enhance the quality of life within the community.

• Strong leadership, management, and decision-making skills
• Experience in budget management, financial planning, and operational oversight
• Knowledge of regulations governing senior care facilities and compliance standards
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities
• Experience in team building, employee management, and staff development
• Passion for working with seniors and a commitment to delivering compassionate care
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Proven experience in senior living management or a related field is highly desirable
