Departmental Objective:
The Housing Department ensures that student-housing facilities are well maintained, clean and safe for the students of CNU.

Purpose of the Position:
This position will maintain various floors by performing floor maintenance duties using various floor maintenance equipment and supplies.

• Knowledge of cleaning methods and cleaning supplies
• Skilled in the use of floor maintenance equipment and supplies
• Good organization skills
• Ability to work in teams
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively and to maintain positive relations with faculty, staff and students

• Education
  :
  High school graduate or equivalent education/experience that equates to a high school diploma
• Experience
  :
  Experience with floor maintenance and floor maintenance equipment
• Experience with cleaning methods and cleaning supplies
• Driver's license is required

• Previous experience working at a university

Starting at $31,200, Commensurate with Education and Experience. This position includes Commonwealth of Virginia and Christopher Newport University employee benefits.
