Certified Maintenance Technician
Location: The Chesapeake - Newport News, VA
Certification Required

Full Time 2nd Shift: 11am - 7pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and complex maintenance across our campus, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose issues and implement solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Complete preventative maintenance and assist with scheduled renovation or upgrade projects.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members and outside contractors.
  • Interact professionally and courteously with residents and staff.
What You Bring
  • 3-5 years of commercial HVAC experience (certification required; additional certifications a plus).
  • Hands-on expertise in electrical, mechanical, and general building systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in various physical environments (wet areas, confined spaces, etc.).
  • A team-player mindset and commitment to service excellence.
