Overview
Join to apply for the Quality Assurance Specialist role at Spectrum Comm Inc. Spectrum is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist with Air Force Acquisition Process expertise and documented process improvement experience. The Quality Assurance Specialist will support the Secretary of the Air Force Acquisition Excellence and Change Office (SAF/AQXC) and other Air Force acquisition activities.
Various locations including Pentagon (Arlington, VA) and Bridgeport, WV.
Responsibilities- Provide APM Maintenance through the review of new and revised reference documents, the creation and modification of the computer model that serves as the basis of the APM, and the revision of associated APM documentation (such as training documents and the reference document list).
- Assist in the facilitation and documentation of Rapid Improvement Events (RIE) and Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) events.
- Duties include supporting scoping meetings, problem definition and research meetings, face-to-face meetings, follow-up meetings and all associated documentation.
- Assist in tracking Rapid Improvement Events across time for ROI, best practices and impacts to the acquisition process.
- Assist in archiving historical efforts.
- Assist senior members of the team in the integration of results into strategic alignment, strategic communications, training and professional development of workforce.
- Assist senior team members in conducting process alignment events across AQ/A4/AFMC/AFSPC and other organizations with Acquisition equity/impact.
- As directed by senior team members, provide facilitation, documentation, research and analysis of alignment to strategic objectives, Key Process Indicators and processes.
- Maintain situation awareness of relevant government activity that impacts Air Force Acquisition.
- BA/BS degree
- 2 years of current relevant experience including APM expertise
- Air Force Acquisition experience
- Knowledge of AF structure interdependencies, and organizational inter-relationships
- CPI expertise, IT technical capability, LEAN / Six Sigma experience
- U.S. citizenship required
- Secret Security clearance
