• Serve as part of an agile development team, delivering an end-to-end data pipeline automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment for an existing Navy Customer.
• Lead code design activities.
• Contribute to the development of complex ML & data science based scripts, templates, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Contribute to the design of information and operational support systems.
• Assists with enterprise application development.
• Supports compliance and continuous improvement for software development and software policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree plus 10+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 1 year of relevant experience.
• Preferred degree in Computer Science (CS) or Software Engineering or related fields of Engineering, Mathematics, and Data Science.
• Relevant experience includes a concentration of courses in foundational CS areas: algorithms, computer architecture, programming methodologies and languages, data structures, logic and computation, and advanced mathematics (e.g., Advanced Statistics, Calculus, Discrete Mathematics).
• Experience in data science software development.
• Experience in Python development.
• Experience in Oracle database development.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Knowledge of software engineering, specifically data science related to developing complex dashboards.
• Demonstrated experience with secure development, coding, and engineering practices.
• Experience in AI and/or modeling and simulation.
• Experience in development data pipelines.
• Experience in software packaging.
• Experience in Tableau and/or Microsoft Power

• Scripting skills, including Shell Scripts.
• Ability to work in an open team environment.
