Environmental Services Supervisor LLH – Riverside Health

Works under the supervision of the Director of Environmental Services. The Supervisor schedules work, evaluates performance, resolves employee complaints, ensures quality and productivity, maintains department morale, fosters relationships with medical staff, and enforces policies and procedures. The Supervisor also performs duties as needed for other team members in the department.

• Conduct inspections daily to ensure quality and infection control measures are met, forwarding appropriate documentation to the department Director.
• Coordinate staffing to maximize efficient, cost‑effective productivity.
• Demonstrate responsiveness by role‑modeling customer service behaviors and ensuring the team addresses suggestions and concerns from residents, visitors, personnel, medical staff, and leadership.
• Collaborate with medical staff to meet the needs of residents and customers.
• Show positive customer service behaviors, striving to meet or exceed facility demands with flexibility and urgency to create a service‑excellence experience.
• Supervise staff to ensure policies and procedures safeguard participants; educate on body mechanics, hazardous materials handling, and standard precautions; maintain a safe work area.
• Ensure employees demonstrate an acceptable level of competence, resulting in high‑quality work performance.

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)

• 1 year supervisory experience in Housekeeping (Preferred)
• 1 year housekeeping experience (Required)

• Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) – AHA (Preferred)

• Mid‑Senior level
