Private Care CNA is responsible for personal care, comfort measures, and environmental services for patients (including those needing special precautions) under the supervision of a Nurse Manager. This position must demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care, adhere to departmental policies, and promote a safe work environment in line with national patient safety initiatives.

• Provide personal care, comfort measures, environmental services, and specified treatments as per department standards; follow the plan of care, maintain patient privacy, and complete required documentation.
• Ensure availability of equipment, instruments, and supplies, and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work/patient environment.
• Participate positively in training and support of team members, volunteers, and students as needed.

• 1 year Prior Nurse Aide work experience in a home care setting (Preferred).

• Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) – Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) (Required).
• CPR/BLS Certification – American Heart Association (Required), within 30 days of hire.
• Drive personal vehicle for RHS business 25% or more of the time to perform essential functions of the job.
• Valid Driver’s License (Required).
