Commercial Loan Officer/Business Banker NPAworldwide
• Newport News, VA, Virginia, USA
The Commercial Loan Officer will be calling on companies of any size in Williamsburg, Newport News and Hampton. Focus is on C&I lending to operating companies but will also do CRE lending on a limited basis. Need is for a full service RM to work deals from cradle to grave. Basic credit skills are required although you don't have to be an underwriter.
The more credit knowledge the better so that the RM can present a strong argument and defend deals presented to the Regional Credit Officer and Management or Executive Loan Committee. Local market experience required.
- Minimum of 2 years on the line as a Commercial Loan Officer or Business Banker.
- Current local market experience is required.
- Credit skills required to enable the RM to structure deals and defend deals in committee but this RM will have plenty of assistance from the credit dept. collecting financials and doing spreads, analysis and underwriting.
