Position: Avionics Field Service Representative with Security Clearance
Position Summary The Avionics FSR will provide maintenance, modification and test capabilities for fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft at domestic or overseas locations. The FSR will ensure aircraft avionics systems are in good condition and safe for flight.

** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of aircraft to ensure operational availability.
* Perform electrical and/or avionics modifications to aircraft
* Lead, train, and direct contractor personnel in familiarization, maintenance and modification of aircraft systems
* Maintain and update aircraft records and documentation in hard copy and computerized systems.
* Identify and source materials for aircraft maintenance and modifications.
* Receive material and update material inventories. Requirements

Minimum Requirements Knowledge and Skills The required skills and knowledge include ability to work unsupervised to lead the maintenance and modification of a variety of turboprop fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft in domestic or overseas locations during operations, training, and test events. Ability to work with flight crews, equipment manufacturers, and engineers to install, test, and troubleshoot new and existing systems/subsystems on aircraft.

FAA/FCC avionics certification(s) required. The minimum years of related experience required:
* Ten (10) years' experience Education The minimum level of education required is:
* High school diploma
* Industry/military training in aircraft avionics systems Desired Requirements The desired skills, knowledge, and education include:
* FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license Other Qualifications Outside of the above, other certifications, licenses, or clearances include:
* Secret clearance
* US Citizenship
* Physical requirements for the job include ability to work safely on the exterior and interior of aircraft, either outdoors or inside hangar. The projected compensation range for this position is $95,000 to $100,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
