Department: Propulsion Plant Planning Yard – Team E70 A1B

Job Type: Full‑time;
Shift: 1st

Travel: 10%-25% of the time;
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship Required

• Manage the Control System Test Lab and Land Based Test Facility (LBFT) at VASCIC
• Supervise a team of 10‑18 technicians and engineers
• Plan and procure equipment and materials within a direct budget of $1‑2 million
• Coordinate with interfacing technical organizations for integration testing and lab resource allocation

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET‑accredited program and 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design
• Master’s degree in engineering and 4 years of relevant experience

• Familiarity with machinery control system test facility management
• Knowledge of site security requirements for classified systems
• Understanding of NNPP standards for control system and software development
• Experience developing test procedures
• Experience with real‑time, physics‑based modeling and simulation
• Experience with design and operation of the A1B Project
