Department: Propulsion Plant Planning Yard – Team E70 A1B
Job Type: Full‑time;
Shift: 1st
Travel: 10%-25% of the time;
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship Required
- Manage the Control System Test Lab and Land Based Test Facility (LBFT) at VASCIC
- Supervise a team of 10‑18 technicians and engineers
- Plan and procure equipment and materials within a direct budget of $1‑2 million
- Coordinate with interfacing technical organizations for integration testing and lab resource allocation
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET‑accredited program and 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design
- Master’s degree in engineering and 4 years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with machinery control system test facility management
- Knowledge of site security requirements for classified systems
- Understanding of NNPP standards for control system and software development
- Experience developing test procedures
- Experience with real‑time, physics‑based modeling and simulation
- Experience with design and operation of the A1B Project
