We’re Excel Fitness, a Planet Fitness franchise group based out of Austin, TX, with 80+ clubs and growing! Since 2016, we have expanded from 16 locations in TX to over 80 in 6 states, including markets like Austin, Dallas, Raleigh, Tulsa, and NW Arkansas. We are opening new clubs each year, providing opportunities for career growth. Many of our senior managers started at the front desk and now earn salaries starting at $42k as GMs, $60k as Regional Managers (responsible for 5-10 locations), and over $100k as Regional Directors overseeing 10+ locations.
All team members (our employees are called Team Players) start at the front desk, where they create a positive member experience through excellent customer service and cleanliness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Responsibilities include:
- Check members into the system.
- Take prospective members on tours and assist with new account sign-up.
- Update member accounts as needed.
- Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to management as necessary.
- Perform detailed cleaning throughout the facility.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills; ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers, exceeding expectations.
- Positive mental attitude is a plus!
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Diplomatic in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Physical Demands
- Stand and walk continuously during shift.
- Speak in person and on the phone regularly.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Handle commercial cleaning products occasionally.
