Job Description
Responsible for scheduling, training, organizing, and assigning employees in daily operations for the Sanitation Departments; understand the requirements set forth by the Good Manufacturing Practices; ensure employees follow governmental safety and environmental standards; and interviewing and hiring all personnel
Job ResponsibilitiesLicense
- Confined space entry. Fork lift and Pallet jack certification, First Aid/CPR
HACCP, and AIB Sanitation and Hygiene
Mobility-
Physically capable of rapid, unimpeded movement to all areas of the plant.
Able to climb stairs and fixed and portable ladders.
Able to crawl under and climb onto machinery and equipment.
Able to enter and exit confined spaces.
Sensory-
Ability to view equipment and detect unsanitary areas, evaluate, and make corrections as necessary
Skills-
Fast Financials, SMART ordering, SMILE ordering, Louts CC Mail, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Word Perfect, Windows, and UPTIME
Good communication and leadership skills
Additional
Skills:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in sanitations operations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Must read, write and understand the native language, communicate (both verbal and written) effectively, and apply discretion and comprehensive understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Requires knowledge of machinery related to sanitation operations
- Requires listening, interpersonal, computer and leadership skills
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics and apply elementary math functions
- Ability to work well under time constraints
- Must maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients and co-workers
- Is adaptable to customer needs
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
