** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and/or employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including interior common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and perimeter zones; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

+ Help to deter unwanted activity by maintaining a visible presence, observing for irregular conditions, and reporting concerns to site management and/or local authorities as directed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing directions and coordinating assistance until additional resources arrive.

+ Complete security-related reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate key information to supervisors and/or site contacts during shift turnovers.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Pepper spray certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
