As an Access Control Officer at a residential apartment location, you will greet residents and guests, manage visitor entry and badges, and monitor activity to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures and Allied Universal protocols.
• Monitor entry points, verify identification and/or authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access logs and related documentation.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms and/or emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site management and/or emergency services as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of apartment common areas, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete detailed reports regarding incidents, access activity, policy violations and/or maintenance issues, and communicate observations to the appropriate personnel.

• Have 6+ months of security experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
