Position Overview
As a Front of House #2 Assistant at Sessions West Coast Deli, you’re stepping into a key support role designed to bridge daily execution with future leadership. This position is ideal for someone with 6+ months of restaurant and customer service experience who’s looking to grow into a management track through hands‑on mentorship.
You’ll work closely under the FOH Leader, learning core responsibilities like staff scheduling, product ordering, and inventory control, while still actively supporting frontline service. It’s a great opportunity for someone who wants to lead by example, stay close to the action, and develop the operational knowledge to level up.
Key Responsibilities- Support FOH Leader with shift operations, guest service, and team coordination
- Deliver consistent, friendly, and fast counter service during rush and slower periods
- Monitor and restock FOH supplies, prep beverages, and maintain station cleanliness
- Assist in onboarding and mentoring new hires under FOH Leader guidance
- Help manage third-party delivery orders and service flow accuracy
- Shadow responsibilities like schedule building, inventory logging, and order placement
- Uphold FOH standards and redirect team when needed with professionalism
- Log shift notes, communicate key updates, and elevate guest issues as needed
- 6+ months of customer service and restaurant experience (required)
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience recommended but not required
- Strong multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow direction while developing confidence in decision‑making
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
- Reliable, punctual, and solution‑focused

- A minimum of 6 months experience as a FOH Manager in a hospitality or retail environment. Previous restaurant experience preferred.
