Associate, Asset Management

A privately held real estate development and investment firm is seeking a Associate, Asset Management to support a growing industrial real estate portfolio across Southern and Northern California and select Western U.S. markets. This role offers hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of industrial real estate ownership, working closely with ownership, property management, leasing, and investments teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

• Support execution of asset-level business plans to drive NOI and long-term value
• Lead annual budgets, reforecasts, and variance analyses
• Monitor property performance vs. underwriting and business plans
• Oversee capital improvement planning and execution
• Prepare quarterly asset-level reporting for internal stakeholders and investors
• Oversee 3rd party property management, vendors, and service contracts
• Support leasing efforts, renewals, and tenant relations
• Maintain financial models, KPIs, and portfolio-level reporting
• Assist with hold/sell analysis, valuations, refinancings and ad hoc investment analysis

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in asset management, property management, leasing, or related real estate roles
• Industrial and/or self-storage experience preferred
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills (ARGUS, Yardi, MRI a plus)
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized with strong communication skills
