MD is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Back End Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on supporting the supply chain operations by managing inventory levels, processing orders, and collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth logistical operations. Full-time in person. Hourly. M-F
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in processing purchase orders and maintaining the inventory database to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Monitor stock levels and provide reports on inventory status, including identifying items that require reordering.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely shipment of goods and resolve any logistical issues.
- Support the back-end supply chain team in data entry, documentation, and filing of relevant supply chain paperwork.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and supplies to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with various departments, to ensure seamless communication regarding supplies and inventory needs
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and moving inventory
- Support packing, labeling, and preparation of materials
- Maintain clean and organized stock and work areas
- Assist with inventory counts and basic tracking
- Support supply chain team with daily operational tasks
- Follow safety, handling, and procedural guidelines
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in supply chain management or related fields is a plus.
- Prior experience in supply chain management, logistics, or administrative support roles is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with inventory management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members and suppliers.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
