Business Litigation Attorney

A growing boutique litigation firm based in Newport Beach is seeking a driven and adaptable Business Litigation Attorney with 2–5 years of experience to join their close-knit and high-performing team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of business and real estate disputes, including construction litigation and contract matters. The ideal candidate is confident, hands-on, and ready to grow into a leadership role while contributing to the firm's ongoing success.

• Manage litigation matters including real estate, construction, and general business disputes
• Draft pleadings, complaints, discovery responses, and law & motion work
• Participate in all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation through trial prep and trial
• Serve as a point of contact for clients and opposing counsel on assigned cases
• Collaborate directly with founding partner and support staff on legal strategy and case management
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations as necessary
• Assist with trial preparation and trial execution when applicable
• Use firm systems to manage case files and conduct legal research

• 2–5 years of experience in general business litigation; construction and real estate litigation experience is a plus
• Strong drafting skills and experience handling discovery, pleadings, and motions
• Ability to manage multiple cases with minimal oversight
• Admitted to the California Bar and in good standing
• Exceptional communication and client management skills
• Professional demeanor with strong phone etiquette and flexibility to adapt in a fluid environment
• Trial experience is a strong plus
• Candidates with solo practice backgrounds welcome if they meet litigation criteria
