Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $75,000-$90,000 per year (DOE)

We are seeking an Experienced Legal Secretary with a strong background in insurance defense to support multiple attorneys in all phases of civil litigation. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and experienced in managing demanding caseloads within strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all civil litigation timelines and due dates, including docketing and calendaring
- Prepare and finalize pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, motions, and correspondence
- Handle state court filings (experience required); federal filings strongly encouraged
- Maintain attorney calendars, schedule depositions, hearings, IMEs, meetings, and mediations
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit binders, witness lists, and pre‑trial filings
- Coordinate with clients, experts, court personnel, and vendors
- Format, proofread, and revise legal documents with a high level of accuracy
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook (Calendar & Tasks) proficiently
- Support attorneys with general administrative and litigation tasks as needed
- 2+ years as a Legal Secretary in civil litigation
- Insurance defense/personal injury defense experience is strongly required
- Strong knowledge of state court litigation processes; federal experience a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and PDF editing tools
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Hybrid: 1 day remote per week; in‑office the remainder of the week
