About the Firm
A rapidly growing boutique real estate litigation firm with offices in Northern and Southern California is seeking talented Associate and Senior Litigation Attorneys to join its Newport Beach team. The firm represents homeowners, borrowers, and businesses across the state in complex real estate and foreclosure matters — from title and encroachment disputes to fraud, breach of contract, and wrongful foreclosure actions.
If you thrive in high-stakes litigation, enjoy substantive courtroom work, and want to join a collaborative and mission-driven team, this is an exceptional opportunity.
What You’ll Do
• Represent clients in state and federal court, including mediations, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and appellate briefs
• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on complex real estate and foreclosure issues
• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution, ensuring all deadlines and court rules are met
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy, risk assessment, and next steps
• Senior Attorney Level: Mentor junior attorneys and paralegals; provide strategic oversight on case development
What We’re Looking For
• Active California Bar license in good standing
• Associate: 5+ years of litigation experience
• Senior Attorney: 10+ years of litigation experience
• Minimum 2 years of real estate litigation experience required
• Experience drafting MTSs, MTDs, appellate briefs, writs, and other substantive motions
• Strong track record with depositions, mediations, and courtroom advocacy
• Exceptional legal writing, analytical ability, and strategic thinking skills
• Ability to handle a full docket independently in a fast-paced environment
• Law Review, clerkship, or appellate experience is a plus
• Associate: $150,000–$180,000
• Senior Attorney: $180,000–$240,000
• 401(k) with employer match
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance
• Onsite amenities (including a gym)
• Paid holidays and PTO
• Bar dues and MCLE stipend
• Supportive, growth-oriented environment with meaningful mentorship opportunities
Firm Culture
This firm values integrity, empathy, excellence, and accountability. Attorneys work collaboratively across offices, leveraging a supportive culture with room for autonomy, initiative, and professional growth. The team is united in its mission to deliver strategic, compassionate, and results-driven representation for clients facing complex real estate disputes.
