Atrium is seeking on behalf of our client a Sr. Commercial Financial Analyst based in Newport Beach, CA

Compensation: $90-$110

Position Overview

The Sr. Commercial Financial Analyst will support the Commercial Finance Manager and cross-functional teams by delivering financial insights and tools that drive business performance. This role focuses on continuous improvement, accurate reporting, and actionable analysis to support strategic decision‑making. The analyst will collaborate across departments to ensure data integrity and provide recommendations for process enhancements.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Commercial team and internal departments to serve as the primary contact for analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain forecast files and manage allocation phasing adjustments to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Excellence to validate distributor reporting data integrity.
  • Own divisional data loads into financial systems during LE and Budget cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare presentations and key reporting deliverables that summarize complex data for stakeholders.
  • Participate in S&OP meetings to provide commercial insights and learn business drivers.
  • Conduct commercial performance analysis using multiple data sources to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Partner with Customer Service on order management, validate order releases, and analyze variances including overstock or out‑of‑stock risks.
  • Continuously identify process improvement opportunities to enhance accuracy and consistency of financial information.
  • Provide ad‑hoc business support and analysis as needed.
Required Experience/Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Proven experience in finance or accounting analysis with strong analytical skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and solid knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and project management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.
Preferred Experience /Skills
  • Previous experience in the Spirits/adult beverage or CPG industry.
  • Familiarity with financial data systems such as TM1 and SAP.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
  • Strategic thinker with a data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline required.
  • Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred but not required.
  • Continuing education in financial analysis or business analytics is a plus.
