Staff Accountant

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Newport Beach, California. This role involves managing key financial processes and ensuring the accuracy of accounts and reconciliations. If you have strong analytical skills and experience with Net Suite and Excel, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

- Perform daily cash management tasks to ensure timely and efficient processing.

- Reconcile accounts receivable to maintain accurate financial records.

- Conduct bank reconciliations to confirm alignment between internal accounts and bank statements.

- Complete account reconciliations to ensure consistency and accuracy across financial records.

- Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.

- Utilize advanced Excel functions, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs, for data analysis and reporting

Requirements - Proven experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar financial role.

- Proficiency in Net Suite software for accounting and financial management.

- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including expertise in Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.

- Ability to perform detailed account and bank reconciliations.

- Knowledge of journal entries and their impact on financial statements.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial processes.
