Senior Portfolio Manager - Emerging Middle Market; Pac Rim

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Portfolio Manager to evaluate the risk level of our Custom Pac Rim commercial transactions. The role is hybrid and bi‑lingual is preferred.

• Evaluate financial statements (tax returns, fiscal statements, and personal financials) to determine creditworthiness.
• Identify credit strengths, weaknesses, industry risks, and anomalies, and recommend loan covenant and monitoring requirements.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to explain decisions, answer loan request questions, and resolve potential problem loans.
• Prepare comprehensive credit summaries in coordination with Relationship and Credit Managers.
• Support portfolio management by addressing covenant violations, completing annual reviews/renewals, and identifying growth opportunities.
• Analyze financial performance and risk profiles of portfolio clients.
• Recommend appropriate loan structures and collateral using financial models and analytical tools.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, risk appetite, and regulatory standards.

• Preferred 3–4 years of experience in credit or lending within a corporate or banking environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Strong analytical, regulatory compliance, portfolio management, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving, collaboration, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
