Summary

Accounting Management experience in managing the accounting close and financial reporting for an insurance or financial services company. Experience with both GAAP and Statutory (blue books) financial reporting required.

• Provide support to accounting close team during ERP implementation period, including BAU close process work and implementation/testing support for the ERP system.
• Backfill BAU activities such as reviewing and evaluating actual financial results for the divisions, analyzing trends, and reporting quarterly financial information.
• Prepare or review first‑level financial reporting packages, perform financial analysis of line‑of‑business reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting on a GAAP and Statutory basis.
• Business support to Divisional FP&A teams on quarterly results.
• ERP implementation support including validating data conversion output, analyzing and documenting future state changes in the quarterly close processes, analysing and setting up close tools on the new technology platform, and participating in mock close testing.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting and reporting.
• Broad‑based financial and leadership background.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience in insurance or financial service industries.
• Ability to analyze financial results and trends.
