AboutThe Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Engineer to lead quality planning, execute assurance activities, and ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and customer requirements. This role involves on‑site liaison and supervision at supplier facilities to identify and resolve quality and delivery issues. You will work cross‑functionally with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer teams to maintain product quality and meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Perform on‑site liaison and supervision at supplier premises to identify root causes and resolve quality issues related to products and processes.
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO
9001, and customer quality requirements. - Manage supplier quality performance, audits, and process qualifications.
- Establish performance indicators with COMPANY and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and continuous improvement plans are executed.
- Coordinate with COMPANY teams to analyze, understand, and resolve supplier‑related issues to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide regular written reports as required by each work order.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- 10+ years of relevant quality experience in aerospace or highly regulated manufacturing.
- Hands‑on experience with AS9100/AS9145, PPAP, FAI (AS9102), APQP, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
- Experience with aerospace parts (machining, composites, assembly, or avionics preferred).
- Proven track record in supplier quality development.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive hourly pay $80 per hour.
- Flexible schedule (4‑day work week).

$80.00 per hour
