Hoag Health, Orange County’s top health system, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Cardiologist specializing in Advanced Heart Failure to join our highly collaborative team of evidence-based practitioners at the Jeffrey M. Carlton Heart & Vascular Institute. Responsibilities
- Perform ambulatory and inpatient cardiology consultations.
- Deliver advanced noninvasive imaging: echo, TEE, cardiac CT/MRI, nuclear stress testing, rhythm monitoring.
- Provide full-spectrum coronary interventional care, including CHIP and CTO procedures.
- Execute structural heart interventions (TAVR, TMVR, LAA closures)
- Offer electrophysiology services including ablations and device implantations.
- Manage complex heart failure cases with ECMO and percutaneous LVAD therapies.
- Treat adult congenital heart conditions (ASD, PFO, VSD closures)
- Promote preventive cardiovascular care through lifestyle counseling and risk factor management.
Requirements:
- Completion of an advanced heart failure fellowship from a U.S. accredited institution
- Board-certification or board-eligibility in Advanced Heart Failure
- Experience preferred, and new graduates will be considered.
- Experience or specialized fellowship training in advanced heart failure/mechanical circulatory support or aortic surgery is desirable.
- Active CA Medical license or Eligible for California State Medical licensure
- Passionate about providing high-quality care and able to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Hoag Hospital.
