Position: Job Captain, Retail

Little, nationally recognized as a “Best Firm to Work For” and one of the nation’s most progressive design firms, is seeking a Job Captain with a positive, collaborative work style, for our Retail Studio in our Newport Beach, CA Office.

Responsibilities
  • Interfacing with an expanding major retailer with a multi-state footprint.
  • Design and construction document development for execution of retail projects.
  • Attending site surveys and presenting projects to clients.
  • Overall team management to ensure and complete project assignments and reviews.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture;
    Architectural registration (or on track) is strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of post-graduate professional experience.
  • Experience in Retail projects required.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills and highly organized.
  • Proficient Revit skills required;
    AutoCAD knowledge and experience a bonus;
    Photoshop, InDesign or additional graphic skills preferred.
  • The ideal candidate is comfortable and adept at working on multiple fast paced projects.
  • Candidate will be a solid self-starter, creative thinker, and independent problem solver.
  • Self‑motivated candidates demonstrating a proactive work ethic are ideal.
  • A commitment to sustainability as a responsible business practice and approach to design.
