INSPYR Solutions has partnered with a hospitality organization based in Newport Beach that is seeking a Staff Accountant. The ideal candidate will bring over 1 year of experience in accounting and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
Base pay range: $65,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr
Additional compensation: Annual Bonus
Responsibilities- Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes
- Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances
- Complete timely and accurate bank and cash reconciliations
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
- Support accounts payable activities, including invoice review, coding, and processing
- Manage and track purchase requisitions to ensure proper approvals and budget compliance
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve accounting‑related questions
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 1+ years experience as a Staff Accountant
- Strong technical skills within ERP systems and Excel
- Willingness to commute to Newport Beach 3 days/week
