12 St Johns Circle, Newnan GA 30265
Shift: 1st shift, 6:00am–2:30pm
Main Responsibilities- Maintain vehicles and ensure safety for customers
- Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics
- Perform preventative maintenance—such as tire replacement/rotation and lubrication—along with some electrical system and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engines
- Collaborate with your manager to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching
- Contribute to other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Penske’s Technician Certification Program is certified as a Continuing Automotive Service Education provider - Advanced vehicle maintenance technology
- Location and schedule flexibility
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
- Problem-solving ability and comfort using tools
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team and outdoors
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow specific instructions, guidelines, rules, and safety policies
- Compliance with DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including appropriate tools, PPE, and safety practices
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
- As driving is required, a current driver qualification file is maintained per DOT; CDL holders will have a DOT drug screening within 30 days of start and FMCSA Clearinghouse review
- Willingness to work the required schedule and location; ability to pass background checks, drug screen, and DOT-required physical; potential travel for training
- Frequent movement; ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and sit for extended periods
- Manual dexterity to handle required tools and controls
- Ability to work safely at heights and in all weather conditions
- Ability to see and hear adequately for safe operation of equipment
- Regularly lift up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasional lift up to 100 lbs/45 kg; ability to push/pull heavy tires
