Performs a variety of tasks in the preparation of meals, interprets recipes, cooks and assembles large volumes of food for the cafeteria, patient, and catering meals.

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Culinary School Preferred
• A student currently enrolled in an accredited Culinary School Preferred

Work Experience

• 1 year experience as a cook. May substitute for years of experience if graduated or currently enrolled in an accredited Culinary School Required
• May substitute for years of experience if graduated or currently enrolled in an accredited Culinary School Required

Licenses and Certifications

• None Required
• SAFE Serve Certification Preferred
