Position: Charge RN- FT Newnan

Overview

We are a Pain and spine Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) located in Newnan, Georgia, dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and help coordinate nursing activities at least 4 days a week.

Position Summary

The Charge RN will serve as a clinical leader on the nursing team, overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality patient care, and facilitating communication between staff and management. This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead and support nursing staff in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and assessment in the Pain ASC setting.
  • Coordinate and supervise clinical staff activities during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Manage patient flow and scheduling to maintain efficient operations.
  • Assist with staff training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and nursing activities.
  • Respond to patient and family concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
  • Minimum of 3 years nursing experience, preferably in ambulatory surgery or ICU/ER.
  • Previous charge nurse or leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
Schedule

Full-time position requiring availability at least 4 days per week. Flexibility in scheduling may be required to meet operational needs.
