Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Plant Operations supervisor and Engineering team members. Assist and ensure the preventative maintenance on all physical plant and building equipment is compliant with internal and external standards. Verify preventive and demand work done by maintenance staff. Responsible for compliance with building life safety, joint commission regulations, OSHA, NFPA, NEC and other similar standards. Additional responsibilities include plant inventory, conducting safety rounds and managing the audio-visual needs of the hospital.
Responsible for maintaining and negotiating with all contracted Plant Operations vendors and maintenance suppliers. This will include contract negotiations. Responsible for maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers and making recommendations on changes when required. Assist leadership in creating department budgets and cost analysis. Provide monthly cost and budget update to leadership.
