Located just off I-85 south of Atlanta, Newnan is perfect for the young and old alike. Under the limited supervision of the Information Technology Director, performs intermediate skilled technical work repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripherals, maintaining network equipment, and related work as apparent or assigned.

• Providing helpdesk support for public safety.
• Maintaining mobile CAD systems for public safety fleet.
• Heading up IT projects related to public safety.
• Setting up and maintaining public safety workstations.
• Managing relationships with vendors and outside agencies.
• Working with existing IT staff to support networking and server infrastructure.
• Although this is primarily a Monday
  - Friday 8-5 job, there are times when you may be required to work nights or weekends when issues come up. The City is a 24 hour/day, 7 day/week operation.

Associates/Technical degree with coursework in information technology or related field and moderate experience in computer repair and networking, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Background screen, motor vehicle history and drug test required. Must have valid state driver's license.

Pay based on experience and position qualifications.
