The Technology Solutions Advisor is responsible for providing expert technical guidance and comprehensive training to Church of the Highlands, full and part-time team, Highlands Dream Team and other people or groups as assigned by the IT Director. This role ensures that clients receive tailored technology solutions that meet their needs while also equipping them with the knowledge and skills to effectively utilize these solutions.
By combining advisory and training expertise, the position aims to enhance client satisfaction, optimize technology adoption, and support the overall success of the organization.
Requirements Include:
- A follower of Christ.
- Proven experience in a technology advisory role, providing technical support and guidance to teammates.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and technical acumen to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs and materials.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant technologies, tools, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Entra.
- Expert knowledge of Apple Mac hardware & MacOS.
- Detailed application support experience with Microsoft 365 products.
- Detailed understanding of standard mobile platforms such as Apple iOS & Android.
- Solid knowledge of internet protocols (TCP/IP), DNS, DHCP and local area networks.
- Working knowledge of industry standard PC diagnostic utilities.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assess client needs and recommend suitable technology solutions.
- Provide expert technical support and advice to clients.
- Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure client needs are met.
- Develop and deliver training programs and materials for staff and volunteers.
- Conduct workshops, seminars, and one-on-one training sessions.
- Manage online Cyber Security Training program for staff.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for both advisory and training purposes.
- Develop user manuals, training guides, and troubleshooting documents.
